Chief Medical Officer

Simon, an ophthalmologist with over 25 years experience, is one of the world’s foremost researchers in diabetic retinopathy. He has served as President of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes Eye Complications and advises the WHO. He was integral to the development of the UK’s world-leading national diabetic retinopathy screening programme.

Chief Financial Officer

Mark is an accountant, who has spent much of his career in senior finance positions within the healthcare industry. He has led major capital programmes including PFI hospitals and was responsible for developing the first contract for a community diagnostic centre, a public-private sector collaboration. He has a wealth of board level experience leading on finance and business development.

Scientific Officer

David has over 35 years of clinical and research expertise in ophthalmology and established the population wide diabetic retinopathy screening programme in Hong Kong. He was the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, whilst serving as the Vice President of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Deputy CTO

Alex is an experienced AI specialist with seven years of expertise in machine learning and healthcare innovation, holding a PhD from the University of Liverpool. He has invented patented diagnostic software and led teams in its development. He is highly experienced in working with clinical collaborators, focusing on integrating cutting-edge technology to deliver impactful, real-world solutions.
